Our follow up sessions are usually one hour - facilitated one-on-one, in person or online.
We recommend at least 4-6 sessions of TRE for you to really start enjoying the benefits of this deep and gentle therapy.
If you feel comfortable, there is also the option of a group session. This can also be incredibly healing in itself - healing together with others is a powerful way to build life long and therapeutic connections

WHY SO MANY SESSIONS?
Trauma and tension is layered, and we trust that our body will release the layers of tension and trauma in a way that is safe and appropriate.
In the first few sessions, you may find that the release is quite superficial, but the more your body works with you, the deeper the release will become, and the more benefit you will reap.
Without having to do any sort of talking therapy, TRE is able to reach into deep subconscious spaces and release old physical and emotional hurts without you needing to revisit them in any way. This brings about a lightness and peace to your body and mind

BEFORE YOU COME TO YOUR TRE SESSION
Please ensure that you have completed your Medical Indemnity form and sent it to our office, and alert us should you have any medical or significant changes since your last session
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR TRE SESSION
The most important thing is to come curious - as we become more curious about our bodies and how we can heal, we discover new things about ourselves and can give ourselves permission to heal differently!
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear loose comfy clothing - we will do some very basic stretching exercises and then lie down on a mat on the floor to do the tremorring
WHAT TO BRING
If you have a Yoga mat please bring it - if you don't have one, let me know and I will bring one for you
Bring a light blanket or throw, and a small cushion, and
A bottle of water if you would like to (I will also provide fresh structured water)
