Usually, our first TRE session is part teaching and part practice, and we can do this either in person, or online. We recommend starting with 4-6 sessions, after which you will be totally equipped to do this on your own at home. Or if you want to, you could join one of our group sessions

We all know that we hold tension in our muscles.  But we can also hold emotions and traumatic memories in our bodies.

Releasing these can heal our pain, restriction and illness and bring us joy. It can also help us move out of our Flight/ Flight and triggered state, into a state that is more calm and present.

TRE has been shown to be helpful in general life, but is also shown to reduce anxiety, improve sleep, improve mood, reduce symptoms of PTSD, improve mobility and improve symptoms of MS and other chronic diseases. 

TRE is possible with all ages, all body types and usually we can work with any sort of illness profile.

Please ensure that you have completed your Medical Indemnity form and sent it to our office. 

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR TRE SESSION

The most important thing is to come curious - as we become more curious about our bodies and how we can heal, we discover new things about ourselves and can give ourselves permission to heal differently! 

WHAT TO WEAR

Wear loose comfy clothing - we will do some very basic stretching exercises and then lie down on a mat on the floor to do the tremorring

WHAT TO BRING

If you have a Yoga mat please bring it - if you don't have one, let me know and I will bring one for you

Bring a light blanket or throw, and a small cushion, and

A bottle of water if you would like to (I will also provide fresh structured water)
